Day 4, June 19, 2010
At the Teddy Roosevelt National Park we saw the Painted Canyon. It was magnificent; words can’t describe the beautiful landscape. Later on, we went to the Medora Musical, a live performance in a huge outdoor amphitheater. It was well worth the price of admission. It was cold; we wore a sweatshirt over our shirts and coats over top of that. In addition, we had to wear ponchos because of the light drizzle. We spent the night at Beach, North Dakota. This morning we are heading on west toward Billings Montana where we will go south toward Yellowstone. The temperature this morning was 53 degrees but the wind speed was much less so not too cold. We are eating Breakfast in Terry Montana at the Dizzy Diner. Next door there is a motel with a sign advertising free color TV. I think it might be an old sign.
